Affinity Shopping Outlet, Critical Infrastructure Recovery & HV/LV Upgrade
Following a catastrophic internal fault within the site’s original switchgear, Affinity Shopping Outlet experienced a total loss of primary power. Connect Electrical was appointed as principal contractor to oversee the emergency response, temporary power strategy and full infrastructure recovery programme.
The project demanded rapid mobilisation, careful coordination and a controlled approach to restoring operations as quickly and safely as possible. Working closely with key stakeholders, we managed both the immediate power recovery and the longer-term upgrade of the site’s electrical infrastructure.

- Rapid deployment of a large-scale temporary generator and secure fuel management
- Emergency diversion of outgoing SWA cables to restore power within hours
- National Grid liaison, safe isolation and restoration coordination

Staffordshire Police Headquarters, EV Infrastructure
Connect Electrical acted as principal contractor for the design and installation of high-capacity EV charging infrastructure at a live, high-security government site. The project required careful planning, strict site controls and close coordination to ensure works were delivered safely without disrupting day-to-day operations.
Operating within a secure environment, our team managed the full scope of works from initial planning and utility coordination through to civil engineering, installation, testing and final commissioning.
